Shinde Eye Care & Dental

A 1500sq ft space with a clinic space for a dentist, ophthalmologists, and retail of eyewear. This was an interior project with the site located in the heart of a commercial hub in Bangalore. Considering the functions of the space the design looks at soothing tones and warm materials to create an atmosphere of bonhomie for any patients, doctors, and clients using the space.

A concept of fluted glass complimented with fluted wood grooves is followed. A separation between the private and public, and more importantly between the dentist and ophthalmologist is done subtly through the use of textures and materials. The open floor concept in the retail and waiting areas encourage visitors of either profession to browse through the retail area, thereby encouraging sale.
