The Water Filteration systems works on eliminating the toxins, bacteria and smaller particles at different stages. as shown below

Stage 1: Remove Turbidity (Moringa Seeds)
Dirt particles in water clay, silt, bacteria, organic matter. These tiny particles suspended in water carry a -ve charge; thereby making them repel each other.
This makes them stay evenly spread through the water.
Moringa seeds proteins carry a +ve charge. When added to dirty water, they are attracted to the negatively charged particles. The proteins bind to the particles, neutralise their charge, and allow them to clump together. The clumps grow heavy enough to sink. This is coagulation.
Stage 2: Mechanical and Chemical Filteration
Three Layers with two mechanisms. The sand and gravel trap particles physically; while the charcoal pulls chemical odours out of the solution by adsorption. Together: 90–99% removal of particles, bacteria, and chemical contaminants.
Stage 3: Ultrafilteration
Unglazed terracotta is porous because it's fired at a low temperature (900–1000°C) where clay particles partially fuse at their edges but don't seal completely. The gaps between particles — locked in permanently during firing — create a tortuous network of channels roughly 0.5–2 microns wide.
Water is forced through these channels by gravity. Anything larger than the channel width —
-most bacteria (1–10 microns)
-all protozoa (2–100 microns)
-all suspended particles
Cannot physically pass through and gets trapped in the ceramic body. This is purely mechanical — no chemistry, no biology, no electricity.
Stage 4: UV Light
After the previous treatments, the water is physically clean and chemically treated but may still contain viruses and any bacteria that slipped through. UV-C light at 254nm penetrates the cell walls of microorganisms and damages their DNA at the molecular level — specifically breaking the bonds between thymine bases, creating what are called thymine dimers.
Chia Sprouting Panels:

Clay or brick panels embedded with chia seeds. will remain dormant until water is applied. Sprouts emerge within 72 hours — edible, nutritious, and grown from a panel that ships flat and dry.
For emergency situations where you may have food but not nutritional food, these chia-infused clay objects can be utilised. Chia (Salvia hispanica) is one of the most nutritionally dense sprouting seeds available. When sprouted, the seeds deliver complete protein, omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, and iron — the specific nutrients most depleted in emergency food aid, which typically provides calories but not micronutrients.
Sprouts are ready to eat in 3 days — faster than any other edible crop. They require only water and light, no soil, no fertiliser, no farming knowledge
Manual
The Manual not only explains all these steps but also explains how to assemble it, as well as local alternatives for materials based on different contexts and availbility.
