Situated in the heart of the bustling city of Hyderabad, the project was to renovate an existing old residence. Because Hyderabad lies in such latitudes that the rays of the sun are almost perpendicular during the summer months, summers are truly scorching.

Front Elevation - Clients preferred a minimal design with a monochromatic white facade

Compounded with a sloped site and an unfavorable climate, the site was built with the common rooms and bedrooms oriented to the North-South, and service spaces at the east-west elevations. All the major functional spaces large openings protected by louvres in front of them, these allow filtered light and cool the breeze.
